What started as just a hypothetical idea for a senior project has turned into this beautiful work that I’m so proud to call my album. Of course, it would NOT be possible without multiple thank you’s.

First, this would not be possible without God. Whatever talents I have, they are all God-given and gifts I am truly blessed to have.

I’d like to thank my parents because without y’all, I would literally not be here today. More importantly, thank you for taking me to that piano store when I was like 5 and signing me up for lessons when I was 6. Music has grown to be my most beloved gift that I have from y’all. My love and interest comes from growing up, listening the countless hours of classic rock and oldies and a sprinkle of classical and everything in between. SOOOO seriously, thank you. And so sorry for being such an angsty teen.

Thank you Helenah, MY BEAUTIFUL AND TALENTED SISTER WHO TURNS 17 TOMORROW. You literally have so much in store and you only have scratched the surface of what you will achieve. I can’t wait until we at the Grammys and I’m cheering you on stage as you accept your Grammy because you literally write bops all day.

To Paul and Hank. I am literally so grateful Jordan recommended I ask you, Paul, to be part of this album. So much of the depth of each song comes from your playing and your creativity. I’m actually sitting right now, listening to the 7th song and hearing your bass playing and thinking like “wow, to be that inventive but also musically intelligent”. And thank you for bringing Hank onto this project. Hank, I feel like I didn’t even really have to explain much for the songs you are on before you got exactly what I was saying and more. I am terribly uneducated in the percussion and set department and really could be better at explaining the rhythm and energy I look for in a song. But you were able to bring those ideas to life, and some ideas you figured out that were even better than I could imagine. Both of you are so young but have so much talent, it's ridiculous. You have brought so much to this album and it would be nothing without y’all!!

To Mollie. You are one of my favorite people. Being able to know someone with so much talent and so many creative ideas is a blessing. Thank you for encouraging me every step of the album process and creating such a fire arrangement to I Miss You!

To Marcin, Dominick and Charlene. Y’all!!! Thank you x 1000000 for playing on the tracks and being a feature. I’m surrounded by so many talented musicians already, but you three are seriously at the top of the pack. <3333

To my friends and family. All your support is really so meaningful to me. Being a musician is tough and can really take a toll on you. Your pillars of support (and tough love) really help me get through and realize that it’s all worth it if I can make you proud.

To Jordan. You know, as much as I am so happy to have finished this project, I could literally cry because it’s over. And right now, I’m at a loss for words to say because there are so many. Thank you for even asking me to record for your project. Working on this has resulted in so many laughs and so many memories. Meeting you has been such a highlight of my life and I’ll forever be musically connected to you.

And now to you, the listener. I am so unbelievably thankful that you even got to this point. It really is so scary to share your personal thoughts and feelings, especially in an art form like music. But art is meant to be shared and I want to share it with you! So I do the music gets your brain going, or maybe your heart. I hope you enjoy <333
